Remote NICU patient monitoring
If your child meets eligibility criteria, our team will discuss their enrollment options in our remote patient monitoring program. Our clinic provider will enroll your child in our NICU remote monitoring program prior to discharge to your home from the NICU. After discharge, our providers will monitor your child’s progress at home using our remote monitoring platform and telehealth appointments. We will discuss this with you and enroll your child before you leave the hospital.
How We Manage Telehealth Appointments
Our team of providers monitors your child virtually through our telehealth platform partner, Locus Health. Your care team will discharge you and your baby home from the NICU with an iPad and Bluetooth scale to use while in our remote monitoring program. This iPad will be preloaded with the Locus Health application and the My Health at Vanderbilt application. You will use Locus Health to upload daily information about your child. My Health at Vanderbilt is where your telehealth appointments will take place.
You may also download both applications from the app store to your personal device should you desire.
